So, I hated Some Girls, but I figured I had to spotlight at least one Neil Labute Play. It’s the story of a guy who meets up with all of his ex-girlfriends before he gets married to his fiancé. Neil Labute is also infamous for his colloquial writing style. “uhhmmm… Yeah.. So I was thinking… right.. etc etc et”

(Last Almost Maine one I’ll do, moving on to other plays : )

Just saw a production that my college did, fantastically well written. A series of stories about a small town in Maine called “Almost” in which the characters fall in and out of love. The best way to describe this play is “awwwwwww.”
